Code of conduct
Enrolment:
Enrolment and code of conduct acknowledgment forms must be completed and received upon arrival on the first day of attendance. This is to ensure that the correct information is obtained, to keep you up-to-date on events and further information.
Practice sessions:
Practice session are held on Monday nights.
Please refer to Rehearsal & Fees pages for session times.
If for some reason due to illness or any other circumstance, a member is un-able to attend a practice session, please contact us immediately.
Practice times are permanent, but may be subject to change upon availability, and performance schedules. Depending on any upcoming events there may be additional practices through-out the week.
Classes are held during the school calendar.
However, there are times that extra rehearsals are necessary, which may be scheduled during the holidays. You will be advised appropriately (through the messenger group)
BEHAVIOUR / PRACTICE POLICY
Please note this policy is followed through to ensure the safety and education for all members, and are to be followed through at ALL TIMES.
- All children must come to practise in uniform:
-Black pants / leggings, or black shorts, depending on the weather
– Zvonimir T-Shirt (which will be provided upon enrolment)
- Girls must have their hair tied up
- Appropriate footwear must be worn. Black shoes for boys, and jiffies/ballet flats for girls. *No thongs or sandals
- Please make sure that your kids have a water bottle at each practise
- No chewing gum or any food consumed during practice
- Unnecessary talking during practice will not be tolerated and dealt with accordingly
- Members are to be punctual to all practices and performances
- Bullying is not accepted
- Please bring all song notes and advised materials to classes
- No electrical devices
- Practise starts times, as stated on the rehearsal and fees page and kids are expected to be in the Sala before that time.
- There will be a roll call completed at the start of every class
Communication:
There will be a term newsletter issued to families at the start of each term. This will provide any upcoming dates, meeting times, contacts, performances etc.
There is also a Messenger Group (Facebook) also for teachers and the committee to provide information to the group. This group will include up to date messages about extra rehearsals, changes to venues etc.
If you are not part of this group already, we have included information to be included in the group chat in the enrolment form. If you are unsure, please speak to one of the committee members.
Fundraising / Parenting Help
Throughout the year the committee will be arranging various fundraising events to help find various events for the club. We ask that parents be involved with these events and support our club where possible.
All parents/guardians are expected to help as much as possible. This providing our children and ourselves with the best experiences over the year.
Nošnje:
HFA Zvonimir provides all nošnje/costumes for performances.
These costumes are priceless; they must be well looked after and cherished. After every performance they are to be checked off and correctly folded and put away by each member or parent/guardian.
